I love love love love love love love this movie.

My new favorite movie. As soon as it was over, I wanted to stay for the next showing of it. Didn't, but I will buy the movie when it comes out and watch it everyday. Seriously.

This movie was everything I want in a movie. Everrrryything. A dash of suspense, heartfelt, clean, cool, artistic, interesting, surprising, adventurous, witty, beautiful, delightful, inspiring, laugh out loud moments, special moments, great characters and AMAZING music. And oh my was Ben Stiller at his handsomest. Just typing all this makes me want to run to the movie theatre and see it again. You did a great job directing and starring in it Ben Stiller. Make more movies like this, please.

GO SEE IT. And if you are curious, check out the music in the movie, here and here, BUT don't until after you have seen the movie. It will ruin the surprise.

< Film & An Update >

I love this movie trailer. So visually captivating. I hope the movie is as great as the trailer. I showed this to my dad and he recognized the story "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"...I had never heard of it before. He said it was a great story, so I hope they do it justice then.

ps. we are doing GREAT. Just been keeping ourselves very busy. The last several weeks when I was on my computer I spent that time looking up apartments and now that we found one we like, I have been spending my computer time looking up great home goods deals.

Jachen got a job! He signed his offer a few days ago, already took his physical and drug test and is now just waiting for the background check to go through. My guess is he will start work the week of the 12th. We won't move out of my parents' home until September...saving up one more month.

I am hoping soon I can get back to regular blogging. I miss it. But for now I am just going to enjoy this "vacation" of family gatherings and planning life craziness.

< Recent Watchings >

Some movies we have seen lately and really like.

Jack Reacher//Loved. I have heard some people didn't like it, but I think that's because they read the book. I think on it's own not knowing the book it is great. It had this cool edge to it. It seems like it's been awhile since I have seen a new suspense action movie.

Admission//We just watched this one this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by this one...it wasn't what I expected, though still really good. One of Tina Fey's more subdued comedies {not like that Bridesmaid movie...didn't see, not my kind of comedy}.

A Monster in Paris//LOVED it. Love the style of it and the story is cute. The music in it is fun too. It's a tad scary so not for the younger kiddos.

Star Trek//Duh. I am sure you have all seen this one. We actually watched a downloaded bootlegged version...we were desperate to watch it...can't wait to see it in a better quality. LOVE that Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Guilt Trip//I REALLY like this movie. I was hoping it was going to be good and it sooo was. A cute comedy and great pairing of Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogen. Love that it's clean too. A keeper.

Warm Bodies//LOVE. Another one I was really hoping would be good and was shockingly surprised how great it was. Love that Nicholas Hoult, he was perfect in it. Great story, fun, funny, suspenseful, cute love story and had GREAT music. A must see.

< Late Night With Jimmy Fallon >

Jachen and I are pretty obsessed with Jimmy Fallon right now. I knew he was a funny guy, but I didn't know how funny his talk show was until recently. When we move to the States I might just have to stay up til 1230am to catch his show. We love his "ew" series and his "hashtag" series especially. How fun for him to have this job. He gets to do his comedy sketches while still being able to interview celebrities. Basically he's the late late night, male, SNL-esque version of the Ellen show. I dig.

THIS ONE is one of our favorites...well until they start fighting. This song is sooo catchy and I love how they are dancing and I LOVE how Jimmy Fallon skips out.

And I am sure you have seen his Downton Sixbey episodes...

ANDDD of course we love his history of rap with Justin Timberlake

I canNOT get the songs from this movie out of my head! Literally everyday one of the songs have popped in my head. Have you seen this movie? I watched it thinking I would at least be mildly entertained for an hour and a half but it turned out that Jachen and I really liked it. Better than we thought. The day after Jachen and I watched it, I watched it again...which is probably why now a week or so later the songs are still in my head. One of those movies I can watch over and over...hmm might watch it again today.

"Turn the beat around...." "I've got the magic in me...." "Don't you forget about me..." "As you walk on by will you call my name" Ahh so good and sooo in my head.

< About Giggling And Funny Shows, That's All >

The entrance to our actual apt is inside the building, not sure what the term for that is, and so anyone who lives here will pass by our door when they first come in or leave the building. I am sure throughout the day, at any given time because the old men that live in this building come and go a surprising amount of times, someone will pass by and hear me giggling. Either from me watching old episodes of The Office, Parks and Rec, Seinfeld or from watching bloopers online. And lately from reading Mindy Kaling's book as well as watching her seriously funny new show The Mindy Project. Even if those passing by our door don't hear me giggling or laughing, I often think about how it has got to be funny to hear someone inside their home randomly giggling. At least for me I think it would be quite comical to pass by someone's door often and hear them giggle about something...I would wonder what is making them giggle. And yes, this does mean I watch a lot of tv during the day...I am home alone 5days a week it's critical I have someone talking "to me" throughout the day.

AND speaking of Mindy Kaling...I think she is so so funny. Her show, is my new favorite show to watch and I get so sad when it's over. Have you been watching it? I wanted to attach a Mindy Project clip, but there weren't any on youtube that does the show justice.

AND I am at the point now where I have every episode of The Office memorized...well at least season 1-5 mostly{which reminds me I need to watch more of 6-8, which I think I will do right this second}. Memorized meaning, I remember everything about the episode before I watch it. ..not as in I have all the lines memorized. That would just be crazy.

< Basically Twins >

Jachen showed me this old BBC tv series called The Black Adder and there is a character that came on that looked familiar to me. I asked Jachen if it was the actor from Dumb and Dumber...but that couldn't be right...I could picture seeing him talking recently. Then I realized it was Sir Anthony from Downton Abbey! So in conclusion these two are basically twins/should be related.

I used to get Jeff Daniels and Dave Coulier confused...for some reason...now we got Robert Bathurst in the mix. Tricky. Two other celebrities I used to get mixed up, here.

Jachen sent me this link and wrote this exactly "GUESSS WHHOOOO IS IN THE NEW STAR TREK MOVIEEEEE". My heart was hoping it was Jamie Bell...then I thought too good to be true. Then I thought Jennifer Lawrence. Nope, not her either. Then at the very end who popped up {cus when he pops up earlier i didnt realize it was him nor did i recognize his voiceover}? SHERLOCK! aka Benedict Cumberbatch. We love him. You a Sherlock fan? Those two boys need to be done working on The Hobbit and get back to Sherlock!

UMM this movie looks amazing. AND it will be.
