|| The Move ||

Yesterday we were supposed to get the keys to the apt, but the renter was snowed in so we planned on meeting her today halfway. After we meet up with her we made our way to OUR apt to unload some boxes and set up our new Ikea purchases. I am actually reallllly excited now, even more than before. The apt is looking less small now that things are going in it, which you would think would have the opposite effect. The only thing I am still worried about is how our couch will fit in the living room...I know it will fit but whether there will be room to walk around the couch is the tricky part. The mystery won't be answered until we bring the couch next Saturday on our official move in/start sleeping there date. 

Hooray for moving out and moving in!

Bits of my 2011
Lots of being with family, preparing for my wedding, getting married, moving to Switzerland, lots of babies being born and on their way{by others}, challenges, new experiences, missing family/friends, fun times with Jachen, figuring out how to be married, trip to London, lots of trips to Germany, ankle malfunction, blogging, holidays, apartment searching, yummy cheese/bread/chocolate/etc, fire building and freezing in our house, reading, packing for the move and lots of Skyping.

|| More Oldies and Goodies ||

After I posted about movies I loved watching while growing up, here, I realized I forgot a few...understatement...and I couldn't leave them out. How silly of me to have forgotten Sense and Sensibility which is an all time favorite...also you gotta love those Mary Kate and Ashley movies...those were my favorites. I am happy I have both lists now and I hope to someday own all of them. I love a good 80's and especially 90's movie. My last post mentioned a few movies that I was in the mood to watch...Matilda, Swiss Family Robinson, Jumanji, The Saint and Kindergarten Cop, White Christmas and Little Women...well, check, I have watched all of them. Craving for them quenched. If you haven't seen some of these, well catch up already!

If you need a movie to watch check out any of these on either lists for a good time. Older movies are always a good choice...quality and clean. I need to figure out how to get my hands on all of these.

|| It Has Begun ||

We have begun to pack! Today we worked on the office/craft room, the attic, put away all our Christmas decorations and started packing up the living room. We got a lot done today...what a great thing. We will get our key to the new place this Friday and bring over the boxes we have already packed when we go get the key. It has begun. EXCITINGGG. 

|| MERRY CHRISTMAS ||

Jachen has just arrived home, early, from his last day of work before our Christmas holiday! It officially begins! I cannot believe it is this moment. I hope you spend as much time with your loved ones as possible and enjoy each moment. I hope you enjoy everything Christmas brings. I hope you keep in your heart the reason we celebrate this wonderful holiday...the birth and life of Christ.

I have been wanting a camera pillow since I saw this one...which so happens to be made by the same person as this one posted today. I am thinking I like this one better than that one. I think I need to get my hands on that keychain too. Do you dig camera anything? More camera love, here.

|| My Silly Back ||

Yesterday evening my lower back decided to start really hurting. The pain grew and grew as the evening and night went on. This morning was bad as well. Before Jachen left to work he set me on the couch with my pillow and blankets, got me breakfast, brought me anything I might need throughout the day including our bag of bread as he said "worst case if you can't get up you can eat that bread today" and set it in arms reach on our coffee table. I have been able to get up and move around a little bit today, with major pain of course. I have been putting heat on my lower back off and on and slowly, very slowly it seems to be doing something. Also, I have been taking Ibuprofen. Is there anything more I can do for it?? When Jachen first left to work I could hardly move...and the few times I have gotten up today has been a bit easier...but wow, this is for sure my worst back problem and I have had a few.

There has been a pinch in my lower back that I have felt off and on for a few months, but hadn't been able to figure out how to get it gone. I guess yesterday it decided to flair up to its max. I am not a fan. Luckily though, laying down is fine it's just when I move my lower back at all or stand with my weight on my left leg it kills. 

Fun, huh?

So that has been my day and night and probably tomorrow.

Also, the snow keeps piling up here in the mountain.

Don't you just want to push over that pile of snow on top of our garden trash can? 

I look forward to moving where there is less snow!

I'm thinking I want a pair of these headphones. Since they made their way into "the scene" I thought they were cool looking, but thought I would look silly wearing them. Now, I'm thinking I would love the sound quality PLUS they ARE pretty cool. I read a review that said the sound quality is great. People have also reviewed saying they give you a headache, but I would suspect that...if you have ever gotten a headache wearing a headband you would know these too would do the same. But, maybe after sometime my head would get used to them. Do you have a pair? Do you know someone who has a pair?I love the Indigo, Pool, Teal and Ocean. There also is a mint color...which when I search online websites seem to have Ocean, Pool and Mint all confused.

What do you think? Which color do you like?

There are a couple stores that sell them here and I think I will try them on and see if I like them. They are of course way more expensive here, so if I like them I may order them online.

|| Merry Red ||

Deep red has always been a favorite color of mine to wear. I have also worn bright red before, but it wasn't until this week when I put the lovely Christmasy red on my fingernails that I discovered how much I really love wearing this color. I am going to have to wear red red more often. 

Wow, red sure spices things up. 

If you haven't worn either red you should get on that.
