My little girls {nieces} turned 5 and 2 this past couple of weeks. This past Monday evening {my tuesday morning} was their combined family birthday party. I skyped in from Switzerland which made it my 4am tuesday morning, their evening the day before. I was happy to wake up, there was no way I was going to miss their birthday party. Leah, 5 now, had her first friend birthday party the week before and that was fairy themed. My sister made the smart choice of only having "friend birthdays" on major age birthdays, but there will always be a family birthday party...we like to party. Clara, turned 2 the day of this party...she isn't at age for a friends party yet. The theme was rainbows. Cute.

Congrats to my lovely ladies for graduating from high school. I can't believe they are old enough to be making this huge change in their life, I don't think they can believe it either. I remember holding them when they were wee babies. I can look back at all the ages of their life and picture their growth. I stillll remember where I was when I found out they had been born. I remember feeding them, playing with them, laughing with them and dancing with them. They are book reading, sports STARing, smarting, beautifuling, funnying, teenying, true friendsing, card playing, 3 out of a family of 12ing, nicesting, nacho/waffles with ice cream on top/toast/sweets/hawaiian haystack eating~ kind of girls. I can't wait for them to start college, and I can't wait to hear about those adventures.

These are my most recent album purchases and the music that has been filling my head, home and car the last few weeks. I love music, still...that hasn't changed and i wanted to make some recommendations. A few of these I have mentioned before, but I wanted to share again. 1. {Oh Land} each song on her new album is so lively, fun and beautiful. Great songs for cruising in the car or dancing to while cleaning your house. I have done both. $7.99 on itunes
2. {The Head and the Heart} is a lovely piano, violin, acoustic guitar, drum, shaker, cowbell, happy, upbeat, 6 person...band. Each song on this album is superb and I own the album and vinyl. That is how much i love it. $9.90 on itunes
3. {Ellie Goulding}'s Lights album is full of sparkly pop songs. Her beats have you car dancing and dancing at home. This is a fun album full of great songs. $7.99 on itunes
4. {Agnes Obel} is a beautifully melodic piano playing artist. Her music is soothing and sooo beautiful. Again, every song on this album is great, there is not a one I don't love. $9.99 on itunes.
5. {James Vincent McMorrow}'s ablum Early In the Morning is my newest album. I love it. His voice is this yummy sultry/raspy sound, his voice has me sold. Every song is brilliant and beautiful. I can't believe this album is only NOW in my belonging. $6.99 on itunes
6. {Fleet Foxes} album Helplessness Blues is an album I have been waiting for since their first album came out 2 years ago. The best way to explain their music is that it feels like the best road trip through the plains and mountains, other than that you just know it when you feel it. However, I must warn you their song The Shrine/An Argument...the end of it has me cringing. I can't handle weird tooting of horns, but other than that 1 minute the album is perfection. $9.99 on itunes.

some of the photo booth pictures from mine and jachen's wedding! they are so fun. we love that we have silly pictures of (some of) our guests. some of my favorite moments of the reception was seeing out of the corner of my eye the silly things going on at the booth. i am really sad my parents never made it to the booth, but so happy so many others did. enjoy!

MY WEDDING VIDEO

Well here you have it. my brother in law rob, who made the below video of his new son Henry, filmed our wedding video and just finished putting it together. we love how it turned out! thanks rob. now you can see what i had been working on for the wedding and spending all my days doing.
