|| Weihnachtsmarkt ||

Over on this side of the world there are Weihnachtsmarkts=Christmas street markets during the four weeks before Christmas. Villages and cities participate in their own versions. Booths of food, beverages and gifts for your buying and viewing pleasure. I mentioned, here, that we went to the Konstanz market on my birthday and that we ate Käsespätzle, well we went back the following week to finish and enjoy the market in whole and we ate more Käsespätzle. It is so delicious. Cheesy noodle goodness. After seeing each booth we finally found a gift for Jachen's grandparents for Christmas. I wish we had Christmas markets in the States...maybe there are? These markets are similar to summer markets{well minus produce and flowers}, but also different. I loved how so many of the booths are covered in greenery and decorated for Christmas. There were also several booths that had Christmas ornaments, Christmas trees, wreaths etc. I would go again tomorrow if I could...especially to get more Käsespätzle. Sorry I didn't take more pictures, I need to not be shy being the only one with a camera.

That animal being roasted looks like a little bulldog, hmmmm, maybe that's why you dont like the meat there...

Ha, no they're pigs. Jachen told me that a coworker said he saw a big buffalo roasting once. that would be HUGE!

(this is another post that I wrote a long comment to - but I was on a work computer and they wouldn't show me the word verification either.)
