One of my favorite things about this time of year are the lights.
I love candles, fire in the fireplace, tree lights, houses/streets/buildings lined
with lights, multi-colored lights, and twinkling lights.
Our home is glowing with lights this Sunday evening. In our Swiss home, we celebrate the four Sundays before Christmas with a tradition here called the Advent using a wreath, you can read about it here. Jachen and I sing together Christmas hymns, in German, then with the candle{s} lit a Christmas story is told. It is a great way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Only two more weeks until Christmas!!!
