< Our Weekend >

We had a nice laid back 4 day weekend. Thursday our state has All Saints Day off and Jachen's company doesn't like going back to work on a Friday so they bridge the weekend. We were perfectly fine with that.

Today, Sunday, we made a paper chain countdown til we leave for Christmas holiday in Seattle. I haven't made a chain countdown forever and we are pretty excited over here for the day to arrive so we plan on very happily removing a link each day. It will be exciting to see the chain get smaller. Jachen requested a gif of himself doing an 'excited for Christmas in Seattle' dance...I probably should have just secretly video recorded him because it was a funny sight.

We had some amazing warmish sunny weather this 4 days, but I have been sick so we stayed in, well except for when we went to Ikea yesterday. It's been a long time since we spent a weekend at home, so that was nice to just hang around the house, work on things and watch movies and the Cosby Show. Also our snow tires are now on, good job Jachen for being so handy. Also, our Halloween evening was spent just he and I eating some Halloween candy and watching The Addams Family, Beetlejuice and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. {the night before Halloween we watched Edward Scissorhands and the day after Tremors. ha. It was fun to watch all these old Halloween-y time classics that I haven't seen in a long time. Ps. we didn't love Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter}
