Tonight, we saw this. I have never seen a hot air balloon this close, this low and all fired up! That was exciting. A part of me would love to be in one someday...and the other part...the "I don't do anything dangerous, at all" part of me doesn't want to. Oh funny, while I am typing this post I realize I have seen a balloon this up close and low before. In 2004 when I was working in Vermont at Lochearn Camp for Girls, a local hot air balloon landed on our field and took up the owner of Lochearn for fun. Now THAT was exciting. Would you pay to go up in a hot air balloon??
